Recap: Vyond attends ATD ICE By Vyond Team on June 6, 2017Our team just got back from the Atlanta, GA after attending ATD ICE (Association for Talent Development International Conference and Exposition) and for the second year in a row, we had a blast meeting the ATD audience. During the conference, there was one consistent buzzword that popped up in most sessions and that was microlearning. Specifically, the importance of visualizing your micro-learning and choosing the right tools to help you get your desired end results (hint: Vyond can help).Big #ATD2017 themes so far: microlearning, continuous learning, & an emphasis on the employee experience instead of mere "engagement." pic.twitter.com/X96TwzUyqs— Kahuna (@kahunaworkforce) May 23, 2017Great insights into why #microlearning is changing TD from @tonybingham. The session was co-presented by Amanda Morgan, Vyond’s Marketing Manager and Vyond customer, Keith Anderson, senior director of Learning at Sears Home Services. Anderson explained to a standing room crowd how he used a blended approach to microlearning. For instance, Anderson utilized bite sized video to train his teams at Lowe’s Hardware, Orchard Supply Hardware, and now Sears Home Services. The key for Anderson was to maximize the potential by creating quick bite-sized microlearning video content and minimize the time it took for him to deliver his message to his employees. Afterwards, Morgan presented why exactly microlearning videos are effective with select findings from the latest ATD Microlearning Report. She also demoed how to create a customer success training video in Vyond and how to incorporate other mediums with video to reinforce concepts. If this has piqued your interest, we will be sharing more on their presentation soon.On the conference floorMeanwhile at the booth, our team was busy doing live demos for interested conference attendees. Thanks to all of our customers that stopped by to say hello and introduce themselves! It’s particularly fun for us to meet our customers at conferences and hear their kind words and helpful feedback. Then, after our first night at the conference we hosted a party at Stats. Take a look at some of the silly fun we had below. About VyondGoAnimate is now Vyond. Learn more about the changes.
